POPSICKLES-summer treat




I love Popsicles..they are so easy to make at home and the variations are endless.
You can make them fruity,creamy,chocolaty,nutty,savory or you could even turn your green smoothie into a Popsicle.Kids just love them and if you make them right they are even good for their health.Here are some of my favorite variations.



Strawberry Milkshake

1cup of almond milk
3 dates
1cup of strawberries

Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender and fill into cupcake trays, paper cups or whatever else you can use to freeze your Popsicles.Don't forget your Popsicle sticks.Put in freezer overnight.





Orange Bam Bam

2 containers coconut bliss vanilla yogurt
2/3 cup fresh orange juice
2 bananas
Zest of one lime or lemon
1tablespoon lime or lemon juice

Blend all your ingredients in a high speed blender fill into Popsicle tray and freeze overnight.




Nutty Banana Chocolate Treat

4 bananas
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/8 cup almond milk
1/4 cup chopped nuts of your choice (almonds and walnuts)

Cut bananas in half and stick in skewer or Popsicle stick.Freeze overnight.
Melt chocolate and almond milk over a double boiler and keep on stirring till chocolate and milk are melted,smooth and well blended.
Take bananas out of the freezer and dip into chocolate mixture..immediately roll in nuts or sprinkle them over the bananas.
Lay the bananas on wax paper and freeze again for 4 hours.You can store them in an airtight container and you always have the perfect treat.





Watermelon and Mint

1 cup of watermelon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons date syrup
a handful of mint leaves

Blend all your ingredients,freeze in popsicle tray and enjoy a refreshing summer melon treat.





Childhood memories

1 cup fresh rasberries
2 cups of of vanilla island coconut bliss ice cream

Melt the ice cream and mash the rasberries.Put mashed rasberries equaly in popsicle tray and add melted vanilla ice cream.Freeze and enjoy..my favorite
